If you hire a photographer that takes an artistic approach, should your timeless photographs not be displayed in the same manner? Of course. Contact us for more information or to set up a time to look at these new albums. From wood to metal to leather and more, beautiful books are available to meet any desire you may have.
Rob Domaschuk Photography is excited and proud to announce a partnership with Timeless Day Spa and Ella Grace Cosmetics to bring you an intimate portrait package. This is the perfect gift for your fiance or spouse - a day of spa services followed by a photo shoot (in your home or in the studio) with a professional make up artist.

Q&A
Suffering from sticker shock, are ya? Can't really say I'm surprised. Wedding photography is one of the most expensive parts of your wedding day. Often more expensive than your dress and, in some cases, than your reception.
But you're also finding people online who will shoot your wedding for $500. There must be a difference, right? There is and hopefully I can point out why a professional photographer is worth the expense.
First, let's look at what's involved to shoot your wedding:
- A typical wedding day will actually require anywhere from 100-120 hours worth of work for your wedding photographer. This includes pre-wedding meetings, scouting the location for pictures before the wedding day, attending the rehearsal, travel, the day of the wedding, post-production, album design and ordering, and more. This is just a list of the bare minimum work that should be done.
- Most reception facilities require the photographer (as well as the DJ and other service providers) to carry insurance. This insurance is pretty costly but nowhere near the price of not having it when you need it!
- Professional photographers carry back-up equipment. Cameras are a combination of mechanical and electrical parts: two things well-known for breaking down at the wrong time. I think Murphy was a photographer.
- Memberships in professional associations keep us up to date with current trends and offers support and assistance.
- We've been to so many weddings that we will often end up helping you keep everything on schedule.
These are the things that happen before and during your wedding and it's all done to ensure that you get pictures you'll cherish for the rest of your life. The higher expense of a professional wedding photographer covers the above and helps us remain responsible to you, our clients.
We do all this because you deserve the very best. When hiring your wedding photographer, make sure that he or she is going to provide you with the time, dedication, and professionalism that you expect.
Let us worry about the details so that you don't have to. These are your wedding memories - view them as the investment they are and entrust them to a professional.
