A couple of days ago, I taught a class called Photoshop: Post-Production for Photographers.
As with all new classes I was nervous about the content, if the students would be happy with it, etc. etc. etc. I’m happy to announce that the class went really well and I received some excellent suggestions from the participants for future sessions (thanks to all of you that took time to give the feedback).
In other news, watch for a new Weddings By Rob website coming in early August. A complete overhaul of the site (including many new images and galleries) has long been overdue and it existed on my ‘to do’ list for quite a while. I’m eagerly awaiting its completion. So, stop by the site in another week or so; I think you’ll be really surprised at the changes.
No, the newsletters have not stopped – just been on Summer hiatus. Coming soon to an inbox near you.
Finally, I’m seeing some exciting trends in weddings these days. As we start into August (really? August already?) this was the traditional time when wedding photographers were busy finishing off their scheduled shoots and starting to prepare for the next year. More and more people are having their weddings into the late Fall and even into Winter. It’s a great time of year (okay, January in Chicago can be a little on the cool side) but, best of all, since it is still a slow time for wedding vendors, there are great discounted rate to be had.
Hope all is well with you, my readers!
Rob
